Switching birth control pills?

I was on loestrin 24 from January untill about two weeks ago (it was the first form of birth control I had been on.) After finishing up my last packet of Loestrin, I my dr had switched over my prescription to yasmin. I took it as normal, with out missing a day and at the same time I took the loestrin. My question is, am I still protected?
