Any Glider Pilots out there?

First of all, don't go with a lot of preconceived notions. Sailplanes do fly different from, powered birds. First thing you will notice is the slow roll rate. There's a lot of wind noise too. You might want to remember to tap your gages once in a while, as without vibration, they stick a little sometimes. Soaring will make you a better pilot. The challenges of reading air make it the most rewarding of all the aircraft sports. A good sailplane is a lot faster than your small plane too. Have fun.
