Would a homemade spike suit stop a grizzly bear attack?

Like a human pocupine suit made up of sharp 4-5 inch spikes covered all over the body and a layer of anti-stab armor(like bullet proof armor) under you so you won't mistakenly stab yourself. Would this work? After the bear swings his paw at you, wouldn't it realese itmmetiy because of the pain? So the bear wouldn't do enough damge to Hurt you because of the pain when he swings at you(pysics lol) what do you thin?k could it work in a life or death sisuation?
