2 year old watching spongebob squarepants, NON-STOP (literally). What can i do to help...?

My friends daughter likes Spongebob.I didn't see a problem with this until I saw how obsessed the little girl was with the show. She screams hysterically if someone wants to watch something different, and even hits, bites and will throw the remote at your head.My friend, isn't exactly the best mother either. She abandoned her child with a family member, because she said she could deal with her daughter, screaming and acting out (for 2 weeks before going to get her). She refuses to disipline her daughter, and rarely spends any time with her. She usually sits her down in front of the TV and says watch Spongebob. I have a daughter who is 4 months younger, and is a angel compaired to her. My friends daughter hits my daughter (at our house) because she won't watch spongebob.I don't like bring my daughter over to play because i dont want her to watch spongebob, i don't think it's age-appropriate.Does anyone feel that Spongebob is not appropriate for a 2 year old to watch? any opinions?
