Where can I find resources for starting an internet business selling crafts?

I make the merchandise, I just to need know how to go about setting up an online page for selling it. Credit authorizations? Any licenses? Need a starting point to begin the research such as sites or books with real info, not fluff or info on using other types of merchandise. I'm not re-selling.
