How do i get out of debt?

usually things stay on your credit for 7 years but I've heard it can effect you for up to 13 years. I don't know what your credit score is, but if there is any way to get a debt consolidation loan I would suggest doing that. Avoid the debt consolidation companies that are advertised online and on tv. Otherwise, see a lawyer and find out what they suggest... hope this helps!
