Can you be in love at 14?

I went through a year with this guy, we were always together, i was always smiling around him, we had 2 big breakthrough arguments, we said "i love you", we slow-danced (andi felt like i was in another world), he broke my heart when he told my friend he didnt care about me anymore, i cried, he apologized months later and i saw him again.. we just went through so much. but 2 years later, i still care about him and thinking about him, i only remember the good times. I really think it's love. can you be in love at 14 years old? Please help me, and tell me how old you are if you answer.
