What are the advantages of progresssive eyegles? What is its cost range?

I use a bi-focal gl, +1.75 for near vision and -1.5 for distance vision in one eye and slightly more in the other. I am having problems while driving and using computers. Can a progressive eyegl would be helpful? What would be the cost range for such gles of average quality?

Hair Qustion: Men straightening hair?

Hey all, I have thicker hair. Now my hair is not a poffball, but it is thick. I want to style my hair differently but the thcikness of my hair severly limits what I can do to it. So, my question is how should I make it thinner. My girlfriend told me to straighten it and so did my mom. How long would it take per day for a guy to strighten a mildly short haircut. And would this make it appear thinner? Also, does it actually damage your hair? My gf and mom said it used to but not anymore because of new advancements in conditoners, etc. Please Help! Thanks all

Why is Obama such a hypocrite about the deficit?

Today he comes out and says he wants "bipartisan" support for bringing down the deficit. This sounds so hypocritical it is pathetic. His budget raises the deficit to historical levels. If Obama was really concerned about the deficit, wouldn't he have made a budget that actually reduces the deficit? He has a democratic house and senate? He could have submitted a budget that reduces the deficit and vetoed any budget coming from congress that does not reduce the deficit. He has clearly already shown he is not serious about reducing the deficit. Now he comes out pretending he is concerned about the deficit? Do the American people see through his shenanigans or are they still blinded?
